How do things go in the morning when your mother's an astronaut? I'd like to think it's pretty hectic, except for the moment you can just sit and eat your food or drink your coffee. Or maybe this is in the weekend when they enjoy the rising of the sun together? But then again, it looks like they just had an argument about whether of not the socks of the child match her dress, or something like that, and now they just silently do their thing before everything gets hectic again. Notice how empty the kitchen is: this gets explained in a next drawing.
Also, in the corner of the next room, Willy the fish is enjoying his morning swim in the helmet. At least someone's happy!
Dutch: 'Zonder haar koffie 's morgens komt ze de dag niet door.'
English: 'Without her coffee in the morning, she won't get through the day.'
She drinks it out of a Nasa mug though
