"I blinkered my eyes to the world ,
around us madness loomed,
and watched your heart unfurl
like the sweetest rose in bloom.

I t grew so strong and sure at first,
your little heart of vine,
I struggled to meet it's thirst,
so it grew hungry, and consumed mine.
